My June Wishlist

Only a week left for payday and I cant stop myself from drawing up this wishlist. There is so much stuff I want that I’d probably go bankrupt by the first week of June.  Anyway, without any further blah blahs…. Here’s what I’d like to own by the end of this month:

1.   Loreal Paris Base Magique primer

So finally a primer that is easily accessible in the Indian market. Now I won’t have to rely on international online sites to buy a primer. The fact that it mattifies and is meant for oily skin had me doing cart wheels all over my workplace!! (..true story..  :p )

 2.    Real Technique brush set

Im so done with my current brushes. I have washed them so many times that most of them are deformed L but I have been postponing the buy since forever as I always end up buying some other item in palce of the brushes. Also im a bit of a miser when it comes to brushes .. some how the idea of spending so much money on one M.A.C Brush makes me cringe inside (I know a lot of y’all be rolling your eyes on me this evry moment). I rather get the Real Technique set at half that price and still get away with a job well done!

The Balm "Mary-Lou Manizer" - REVIEW

Today i will be reviewing a highlighter from "The Balm", called "Mary-Lou Manizer". I was in search of a good highlighter for ages would give me that much coveted *cough* JLo glow *cough* :p without making me look like an oily mess since i have super oily skin! I did a lot of research and shortlisted Benefit High Beam, M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish, NARS Albatross and The Balm. And the winner was... drumroll please...... The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer... tadaaaaaaa!!
I got it online from this wonderful website i stumbled upon called bathandunwind which ships worldwide free.

Packaging

The Balm is known for their quirky packaging and Mary-Lou Manizer (hence referred to as MLM) is no different. I love the cocky mug-shot of Mary (im guessing she is Mary) on the cover... makes me feel like an outlaw in a cool way...lol.
There is a large mirror when you flip open the pan... useful while travelling or for touch-ups, however there is no brush provided, not much of a problem for me though.
